I have updated my original version of the book that I wrote in a month immediately after hearing that Palin had been selected as Veep.  I continue to receive radio interview invitations and there has been a resurgencein the number of people asking where they can purchase this book, so I decided to take some time recently and set aside my second book that is underway, “God’s Own Party? – Keep Your Bible Off My Ballot!” and update “TheoPalinism – The Face of Failed Extremism”.

I pride myself in coining that title and confidently releasing it for printing on October 22, 2008 before the election results were in.  That is how much faith I have in all of us to make the right decision.  We will always have our own religious zealots just as there are Islamic extremists that taint the Muslim faith, but – at least for now – they remain a minority.  A noisy and annoying minority, granted…but thank God a minority nonetheless.

“Theo” is a great primer for my upcoming book easing readers into an introduction of who I am, a basic description of Dominionism and what they are about, and of course a rant about Palin and discussion as to how she showed up on our political landscape.

I intentionally kept it fairly brief at 187 pages, in hopes of making it an informative but easy read with broad appeal.  This is NOT an anti-Republican screed, nor am I ever to be misunderstood as an anti-Christian.  I yearn for the secular GOP to return and kick some a**, pressuring these evangelical extremists that infested the GOP to run back into their corners – forced to regroup under someone else’ skirts.

I cannot stress how important it is that we ALL take this seriously and not roll our eyes dismissively at the joke that has become Palin for President in 2012.

This is for Secular Republicans, Democrats, Non-Partisans, and those I call the Apathetics (who mistakenlythink that government isn’t their problem and they don’t want anything to do with it).  It is also for ALL non- “born-again” evangelical Christians of various denominations whose churches have been steadily “Steeple-Jacked” since the formation of the Evangelical “Moral Majority” in 1976.  It is also for Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and all other faiths in America that need to understand and appreciate the intent by these End TImes/Dominionists ‘c’hristians with their focus on forcing the return of Jesus Christ in “our life times” as they claim.

They have already insinuated themselves into the Pentagon, Military Branches, Congress, attempted White House occupations under Reagan and Bush, Education and the attempt at dismantling it through school choice and vouchers favoring Christian schools and home-schooling using their revisionist texts and their revisionist NIV Bible, and on and on.  This will be covered in greater detail in the 2nd book.

Through the intensive research that I have immersed myself into I am extraordinary blessed to have been able to speak with many experts and authors on this topic who all encourage my endeavors with the hope that I might be able to attract a varied audience and open our eyes to the very, very real danger of the intent behind the extreme Evangelical Political Dominionists cabal.

Vigilance and education on our part is imperative so that we can stand together and stem the tide of this brainwashed sect before they spread their extreme dogma any further, breeding fear, hate and intolerance in the name of God.
