For nearly two years now – thanks to the generosity of the Atkin Foundation – ICSR has given young leaders from Arab countries and Israel the opportunity to come to London for periods of four months to develop their ideas on how to further peace and mutual understanding in the Middle East.
Against the background of current events, debate and constructive dialogue between Israelis and Arabs seem more important than ever – especially among those who are likely to occupy positions from which they can shape politics and public opinion in the Middle East.
For this reason, we have started recruiting Atkin Fellows for the 2010/11 period. For the forthcoming intake, we are looking for applicants from Egypt, Israel, Lebanon and Palestine only. Deadline for applications is 11 June 2010.
If you are interested in applying, please have a look at the attached advertisement, which provides more information on the Atkin Fellowship and directs you to our website, where you can find the details on how to apply.
If you know of someone who may be interested, please feel free to pass on this message.
Best wishes,
