Salute to Tribal Leaders of Pakistan!

Who says we have no leaders? If we have the MIR Jaffars like Hussain Haqqani, Rehman Malik [read it Dakait] Zardari, Gilani , Asfandyar and Nawaz Shareef, we have Tipu Sultans also. Prior to attacking the patriotic tribal by Meerasi General Parvez Musharraf on the direction of the military and political leadership’s masters in Washington the people of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) were considered the protectors of the rest of Pakistan. Now they have “reportedly” picked up guns against the “state”. It’s not the story we are discussing here, however the Lawmakers from same FATA have showed up some self-respect … Continue reading Salute to Tribal Leaders of Pakistan!

The ten most funniest lawsuits!

1. Beers ‘n’ babes During the 1990s Budweiser ran a series of adverts where two beautiful women appeared in front of two truck drivers drinking the brew. Michigan man Richard Overton promptly bought a case of the beer, drank it and waited — but no hot babes appeared. Cue lawsuit. Overton cited emotional distress and mental injury due to false advertising and wanted over $10,000 in damages. Thankfully, the court realised it would take a hell of a lot more than a case of Budweiser to get this loser a date and they decided to dismiss the case. 2. Causes of war

Causes of war —Sikander Amani The decision to go to war, which one would think to be the most carefully weighed action a political leader could ever make, is more often than not made on either irrational, false or parochial grounds Given the massive damage and casualties of war, how could anyone rational even consider engaging in one? For the naïve civilian, war simply seems such a dumb idea that it is mind-numbing to understand how and why it has been, and still is, repeatedly used as a tool of political advancement. The 20th century has witnessed deep changes in the … Continue reading Causes of war
