MUSLIM WORLD LEAGUE (MWL), PROMOTES COMMON VALUES AMONG PEOPLES OF ALL FAITHS

The Muslim World League (MWL), has progressed the work of the League since coming under the leadership of the new Secretary-General.
Dr Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa has led the MWL since August 2016 has toured the world to meet leaders in various fields with the aim of achieving a world of appreciation of differences.
The Muslim World League MWL has organised the Global Forum “Promoting Shared Values among People of Different Religions” on May 11, 2022 (Shawwal 10, 1443 AH) in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Prominent Muslim, Jewish and Christian leaders, including denominations and Hindus and Buddhists, participants from 37 nations are attending.
The focus is to bring together the values of moderation, enhance friendships and build solidarity to confront the threats extremist ideologies.
Despite efforts of the Secretary-General of Muslim World League to deep root the values of tolerance and cooperation and confront religious intolerance among different religions, events can from time to time provoke hatred between nations and peoples, an example being what happened recently in the Kingdom of Sweden when an extremist burned a copy of the Holy Qur’an and the previous acts in the Kingdom of Norway, where some extremists burned the Holy Qur’an.

We must redouble our collective efforts across religions, borders and peoples to bring about a better understanding of each other. Congratulations to Dr Issa for this wonderful initiative in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
